Luna and Artemis C2C Blanket
Who here grew up with Sailor Moon? I did! When I was little girl, I watched Sailor Moon anime all the time. I think I watched all movies, too (I even cried on one of them. That’s how emotional I got 😅) I’m not as obsessed as when I was young, but I still love Sailor Moon ❤️
I went to Japan beginning of this month for about 2 weeks and stayed at my childhood friend’s house…and man! Her house was cold! She had heater but…still cold! Also she told me she couldn’t sleep well because of the coldness; she turns off heater at night because the room gets dry if she keeps it on all night long. After I gave her the blanket, she told me she was able to sleep very well! (yay!)
I told her I’m making a blanket for her but didn’t tell her what pattern it was. She loves Sailor Moon too (more than I love!), and she was so happy when she saw the design ❤️ It was my first C2C (corner-to-corner) blanket, and it was a lot of work but loved it!! I wanna make more designs in the future!
Here’s the instruction!
Materials:
- 3 skeins of Bernat Super Value in Honey
- 2 skeins of Bernat Super Value in White
- 4 skeins of Bernat Super Value in Natural
- 1 skein of Bernat Super Value in Soft Grey
- 1 skein of Bernat Super Value in Lilac
- 1 skein of Bernat Super Value in Baby Pink
- 1 skein of Bernat Super Value in Yellow
- US H/5mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
Notes:
- The yarns I used does not exactly match the colors on the grid pattern. (On the website it looked very similar so I ordered them, but when I got the actual yarn, it looked much darker…) Please use your preferred #4/worsted yarn color for gingham pattern. (I would recommend lighter grey yarn than the one I used)
- I only used little bit of Soft Pink and Yellow, so if you have yarn similar to those colors, you don’t need to purchase them.
- Size – 100×80 grids (about 180cm by 150cm/ about 71in by 59in)
- For gingham pattern, it’s 8×10 grid all around it, and 12×12 grids inside.
- Please DO NOT sell this pattern and finished product! Please make this ONLY for your personal use such as making for yourself and giving as a gift for someone close to you.

If you’re beginner like me for C2C, there are bunch of YouTube videos out there for references! Some of the great websites are Make and Do Crew by Jess and One Dog Woof by ChiWei. (There are slight differences in making between them. I made my C2C similar to Jess’s)
I’ve added 2 rows of SC border in lilac. It ties the design together because Luna and Artemis are both bordered with lilac yarn. Gingham pattern is somewhat busy already so I kept it simple.
Here is the picture of step-by-step process!
