It’s almost Christmas!

Has anyone started preparing for Christmas? (It’s 3 months away!!) I’m already thinking about what presents I should get for my family and close friends. Maybe crochet products? Maybe go buy something else?

I was kind of talking to my brother about it, and he asked me if I can make him a scarf. I said sure! I would love to make one! I currently have Bernard Softee Chunky in black so it was perfect for making men’s scarf! So then now…what kind of pattern should I make… I didn’t wanna do single crochet or double crochet…I can make it fast with those patters but I wanted little bit more interesting pattern. So I was looking through Pinterest and I found a great pattern…basket weave stitch! It consists of fpdc (front post double crochet) and bpdc (back post double crochet), and you go back and forth with these stitches. This stitch is actually pretty easy as long as you know how to do fpdc and bpdc.

I’ll post a pattern once it’s complete!

私は家族とか親しい友達にあげるプレゼントは何にしようかなぁ～と考えてるところです。

編んだものにしようか何か買ったものにしようか・・・ちょっと迷ってますね。

そのことを、弟とちょっと話したら、マフラー編んで！と頼まれました。

もちろん編みます！編んでみたい！

今ちょうど黒の超極太糸があったので、メンズマフラー編むにはぴったりの糸かなと。

問題は編み模様・・・細編みや長編みとかでは作りたくなかったんです。
細編みとかだったら簡単にすぐ作れるけど、もうちょっと変わった編み模様にしたかったので。

そこで、Pinterestでメンズマフラーを探してたらカッコイイ編み模様を見つけました！

バスケット編み！

長編みの表引き上げ編みと裏引き上げ編みを数目ずつ交互に編んでいく編み方です。

一見仕上がりの編み模様を見てみたら難しそうなんですけど、長編みの表＆裏引き上げ編みの編み方さえ分かってれば意外と簡単です！

マフラーの編み方は完成したらブログに載せたいと思います！
