Alchemy Cardigan CAL by Make and Do Crew – week 2

Sharing is caring!

I’m happy that I finished my second week of Alchemy Cardigan CAL by Make and Do Crew faster than I expected! I checked out Lovecrochet Facebook group, and I was really surprised when I saw/read some people finished with theirs in 1 day!! This week, we were making front panels, and even though you are making 2 pieces, rows you make are less than back panels, so maybe that’s why many people finished with theirs in such a short time period.

When you purchase or make a cardigan, do you prefer pockets? I am yes-pockets person! I love pockets! If I find a cardigan without pockets, I tend to stay away for some reason. I don’t have a definite reason why I love it, but it just adds a nice feature to the design, and I love the look of it!

You have an option to make without pocket slits so if you prefer without pockets, you can make it that way as well.

It’s basically same stitches as back panel, so after making back panel, you get use to making it.

I’m debating if I should block it or not…when I lay on top of one another, it lays out pretty good. I may not need to block it. We’ll see! I am thinking about getting blocking mat and pins, however, just in case I need it for rest of the parts and future projects!

Couple more days until part 3 starts and I can’t wait!
