It’s finally becoming like fall weather! I hope everyone is enjoying the weather. It’s kinda sad summer over, but fall is awesome weather too, right?
When it gets cold, I always wear scarf. I have tons of scarf in my house. I love scarf! My brothers, on the other hand, they usually don’t wear scarf. But last year, one of my brother got a nice scarf from his friend so he started wearing that once in a while in winter. Especially in Chicago, winter is around the corner once summer is over. Fall is usually short…which is kind of sad.
Anyways, so…to get ready for winter, I wanted to make a scarf for my brothers. I blogged about my Chunky Basketweave Scarf that I made for one of my brother. I actually have another brother, and I wanted to make him one too!
I’ve been obsess with basketweave stitch recently. It consists of fpdc (front post double crochet) and bpdc (back post. double crochet), and these are commonly used when you want to make ribbed effect.
This time I made one with lighter weight yarn, so it looks little different than chunky one. I love how this one turned out as well! I’ll post a pattern this weekend, and you can make one for yourself and/or your loved ones!
